Fernie Minor Hockey would like to thank Scotia Bank for their $1,000 donation to the Fernie Jr Ghostriders Atoms team. With this money the Atoms team was able go to an extra tournament this year.

Registration for Fernie Minor Hockey will take place at the Spring Registration Fair in the Fernie Community Center on April 4 and 5. All players that live between Jaffray and Hosmer must register in Fernie. At Spring Registration there will only be a $20 Registration fee and team fees and ice monies will be collected in the fall by the association and team the player plays for.
Spring Registration Fair will be at the Fernie Community Centre on Wednesday April 4th and Thursday April 5th from 6-8pm.

The Fernie Minor Hockey Association's Annual General Meeting will take place on Monday, May 7th, 2012 at 7:00pm in the Fernie Curling Club.

Fernie Minor Hockey Association would like to congratulate home town girl, Erika Sowchuk on bringing home the gold with Canada's National U18 female hockey team at the 2012 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship.  Erika scored a goal in the semi-final game against Sweden bringing them to the gold medal game against arch rivals, USA.  Way to go Erika! You make Fernie proud!
