FMHA is a volunteer-run non-profit organization and we require all parents to volunteer in some form throughout the year. If you do not want to participate as a board member or a rostered volunteer, there are many additional jobs needed such as scorekeepers, timekeepers, penalty box attendants, jersey parents, fundraising. Also note, that every team will host a home tournament at which ALL parents are expected to volunteer their time. Remember "many hands makes light work"

  • Any requests for late registration (Sept 1-30) must be emailed to fernieminorhockey@gmail.com. Your player will be placed on a wait list while the board reviews final numbers of players and teams at each age group. *Please note that we are limited by Hockey Canada / BC Hockey in the maximum number of players we can roster on a team.L

  • If a player is successful in making a Zone team, they will be refunded their FMHA fees and will be responsible for full fee payments to the new team and EK Avalanche program.
